Pervasive PSQL v11 Server User Count Increases
Pervasive PSQL v11 licenses are NOT stackable. To increase your user count, you must purchase additional "User Count Increase" licenses to add to your "base" license to make larger (non-standard) user counts. This means that if you wish to obtain a 30 user license, you can must purchase a 20U "Base" license and a 10U User Count Increase to put them on the same server.

Pervasive PSQL v11 Unlimited/Intranet & Unlimited/Internet Licenses
Starting in October 2010, Pervasive changed their Unlimited licenses for the Server Engines and combined them with the Internet and/or Intranet licenses. Here are the notes specific to these products so that you can determine which license you really need:
- Licensing is per physical server with no CPU restrictions.
- The PSQL Unlimited/Intranet License must be purchased if the number of concurrent database users cannot be determined and the software is limited to the support of internal business operations.
- The PSQL Unlimited/Internet License must be purchased if the software is used for any type of commercial hosting for a 3rd party, including SaaS (Software as a Service), ASP (Application Service Provider), time sharing, or service bureau operations.
- To upgrade from PSQL Unlimited/Intranet to PSQL Unlimited/Internet, contact Pervasive.
Pervasive PSQL v11 Insurance
Pervasive PSQL Insurance is a special 7-day temporary license key that can be used to re-activate a failed database engine license in the event of a complete failure of the primary server. This buys you the time to contact Pervasive Software to have your Activation License deactivated on the old server, so that you can properly enable it on the new server. These licenses can be used up to three times, after which you must purchase another PSQL Insurance license.

Shipping and Taxes
Several methods can be used for shipping, but the most common are Ground
($10) and Next Day Air ($30). International shipping can be considerably higher. We recommend Electronic License Delivery, which is fast and carries no additional shipping charges. Some products or multiple product orders may have higher shipping costs, depending
on the overall size and weight. Sales taxes will be charged for all Illinois destinations, unless a proper Illinois
tax exemption form is filed. Drop shipments from Pervasive to some states (including CA and MA) may have sales taxes added. All other destinations will be responsible for self-assessing sales taxes where applicable.
Ordering Information
Current payment options include pre-paid, purchase order, and credit card.
- On-Line: Visit shop2.goldstarsoftware.com to order products on-line.
- Pre-Paid: Contact Goldstar Software
to determine the exact amount of the order. Mail your payment (Check payable to Goldstar Software Inc.) to our
address (as shown on the Contact page) with the original quote or a written copy of your order. Please be sure to
include all information, including version, platform, user count, and shipping method, where applicable. When we
receive the payment, we will process the order and ship the software to you with a PAID invoice.
- Purchase Order: To
accept your company purchase order, we must have an open customer account set up. Please download the required forms
and fill in the information requested. Then, you can mail or fax your forms with your P.O. directly to 928-833-3632.
When your account is approved and created, the software will ship via the requested method. If you have any questions,
please call us at 708-647-7665 or contact us via other methods!
- Credit Card: We can
accept bank transfers or credit card payments, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover Card and American Express! To best protect your
privacy, all credit card orders are taken as phone orders only, so contact us to place your order. You can also
place an order by Fax with our Credit Card Order form.
- PayPal: We can also receive payments via PayPal. Schedule payments to the user "BillBach"
at goldstarsoftware.com. (Format this like an Email address. We'd give you the exact format, but spammers keep
sending us more garbage.) You may need to establish an account with Paypal to complete this transaction.
