NovaBACKUP Server Agent is your backup solution for computers running server-class operatng systems, including Windows Server 2012 (and R2), Small Business Server 2011, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2022. (In previous versions, using Exchange, SQL Server, or Hyper-V required the NovaBACKUP Business Essentials license, but this product has been discontinued, and the NovaBACKUP Server Agent now works for all server-class operating systems.) This product provides both data backups and full disaster recovery (image-level) backups in one simple-to-use package, and it also includes Universal Restore -- the ability to restore your backups to the same or completely different hardware -- all at no extra cost.

NovaBACKUP Server Agent is one of the fastest backup packages around -- and this is why Goldstar Software endorses this solution. It supports powerful scheduling, and can leverage pre- and post-backup commands to integrate with the Actian Zen Backup Agent or with the VSS Writer to protect your Zen database files.

You can back up to just about any target, including tape drives, hard disks, network shares, NAS devices, USB devices -- even the Cloud, as the subscription includes a minimum of 250GB of cloud storage as part of the annual subscription price!

Licenses are available in either perpetual or subscription models. NovaBACKUP has removed our ability to sell the perpetual licenses, which provided the ability to continue using older licenses as long as you wish without ongoing support & maintenance after a single capital expense. At this time, we can only sell the subscription model, which requires an annual fee, but this can be immediately expensed as an operational expense for business users.
